This week we’ve got a right catchy little number for you from legendary DJ Producer Dave Spoon.
2008’s monumental smash ‘Baditude’ was co-produced by Paul Harris and features some raw and sassy vocals from Sam Obernik. It’s an in-your-face, highly charged rocket and had a massive impact on the international dance scene.
The track features a summer guitar feel, built on a trademark Dave Spoon electro backing which promotes a twist of underground from the Original Dub mix.
Obernik’s infectious vocals really strike a chord and with a nice glammed up feel for the video the catwalk concept really works with the jet setting lyrics.
We’re especially fond of the way she pays tribute to two of the world’s greatest club’s in the line: 'DJ, do it again, from Boujis to DC10, Tokyo back to the End - Viva La Baditude!' Genius we say!
In a nutshell, ‘Baditude’ is an explosive, sun-drenched soundtrack to party-fuelled days and beat-filled sleepless nights!
The track’s been featured on countless Ibiza compilations and we reckon it’s an essential for any nostalgic iPod playlist this summer!
